CHEESE POTATO CASSEROLE 
32 oz. pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes
1/2 c. butter
1/2 average onion
1 c. cheddar cheese, grated
1 c. sour cream
1 c. cream of chicken soup
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. cornflakes, crushed
Pepper to taste

Melt 1/2 butter in 10x13 pan. Put hash browns in pan and sprinkle onions on top. Sprinkle cheddar cheese in. Mix sour cream, salt and pepper. Spread on top of cheese. Melt remaining butter and mix with cornflakes. Cover casserole with mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes uncovered.
