BAKED ONIONS | |
1 onion per person, peeled, & halved (Walla Walla, Mauri, Vidalia or even standard yellow) 2 tbsp. soy sauce 1 tbsp. balsamic or red wine vinegar Spices: garlic, tarragon, parsley, & pepper or garlic, oregano, basil & pepper, or garlic, pepper, rosemary & thyme Place prepared onion on heavy duty square of aluminum foil. Add soy sauce and choice of vinegar. Sprinkle spices on top. Close up foil and tightly seal. Bake in BBQ or in oven for 1 hour. Open and serve onion with juice. |
