BAKED CHICKEN AND VEGETABLES 
1 whole chicken, cut
4 lg. potatoes, diced
4 lg. carrots, diced
4 celery ribs
1 onion, chopped
1 lg. Vidalia onion, chopped
1 can whole tomatoes
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. butter
1 tsp. thyme
1 tbsp. black pepper
2 c. water

Combine chicken, potatoes, carrots, celery, onions, and tomatoes in water. Then add spices. Bake in a casserole dish for 1 1/2 hours at 450 degrees.
