2 c. sugar 2 c. white corn syrup 1 lb. sweet cream butter 2 c. whipping cream 2 tsp. vanilla 7 c. chopped pecans Cook sugar and corn syrup over medium low heat to 250 degrees. Remove from heat and add butter, stirring until dissolved. Add whipping cream (not whipped) slowly. Return to heat and cook to 242 degrees stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add vanilla and pecans. Drop by large tablespoons onto foil. when cool, wrap individual pieces in saran. |
