TACO PIE 
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 lg. bell pepper
2 med. onions
1 lg. can tomato sauce
1 can crushed tomatoes
2 tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. cumin
1/2 tsp. cocoa
Crushed red pepper, to taste; optional
1 box corn bread mix or recipe of your own

Brown ground beef in oven proof skillet, pour off all but about a tablespoon fat. Add peppers and onion, chopped, saute until wilted. Add other ingredients and simmer on low heat until thickened. Allow to cool slightly.

Prepare corn bread mixture according to directions and spread over cooled meat mixture. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes or until corn bread tests done. Serves 4-5.
