FOUR-STAR CHOCOLATE CHIPS 
2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. (2 sticks) butter
3/4 c. packed light brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 large eggs
2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 c. golden raisins
1/2 c. shredded coconut

Preheat oven to 375°F. Combine the flour, soda and salt; set aside. Cream butter, sugar and vanilla with mixer. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips, walnuts, raisins and coconut. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.

Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Let them rest 2 minutes on baking sheet before removing.

Makes about 60 cookies. Can freeze. Can do ahead.
