FRESH APPLE CAKE 
3 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. oil
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans
4 c. fresh sliced apples (Winesap)
1/2 lemon

Peel and slice apples; pour lemon juice of apple. Cream sugar and oil; add flour, salt, soda, vanilla, pecans, apples, and juice of 1/2 lemon. Use bundt pan or tube pan. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 300 degrees.

ICING: 1/2 stick butter, 1 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup milk. Mix and boil 2 1/2 minutes then pour over hot cake.
