FRESH APPLE BAKE 
1 1/4 c. corn oil
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3 c. cake flour
3 c. apples, peeled & sliced
1 c. chopped pecans
2 tsp. vanilla

Beat sugar and oil together. Sift dry ingredients. Add to first mix, alternating with eggs, beating after each addition. Add vanilla. Fold in nuts and apples. Pour into greased tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Batter is real thick. Serves 12-14. Enjoy.
