SWEET AND SOUR SALAD 
1 med. green or sweet red pepper
1/2 med. cucumber sliced
1 sm. onion coarsely chopped
8 oz. elbow macaroni or mostaccioli
1 c. cider vinegar
3/4 c. sugar
1 tbsp. dried parsley flakes
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. pepper

Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and rinse with cold water.

Place in a bowl. Add peppers, cucumber and onions. In a jar with a tight fitting lid, combine remaining ingredients; shake until sugar is dissolved. Pour over salad, toss and chill.
