CREOLE OKRA AND TOMATOES 
1/2 c. butter
1 lg. onion, chopped
1/2 bell pepper, diced
1 qt. okra, sliced
4 fresh tomatoes, coarsely chopped
Salt and pepper to taste

Melt butter in large skillet. Add onions and saute over medium heat until transparent. Add pepper, okra and tomatoes. Season to taste. Lower heat; cover and simmer until tender, usually about 40 minutes.
