1 lb. ground beef 3 onions, sliced 1 lg. green pepper, chopped 1 can tomatoes 1/2 c. uncooked rice (regular) 2 tsp. salt 1-2 tsp. chili powder 1/8 tsp. black pepper Heat oven to 350 degrees. In large skillet, cook and stir meat, onions and green peppers until meat and vegetables are tender. Drain off fat. Stir in tomatoes, rice, salt, chili powder and pepper. Heat through. Pour into ungreased 2-quart casserole. Cover and bake 1 hour. Yield: 6 servings. |
