SANDIES 
1 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. all purpose flour
1 c. chopped pecans
1/4 c. powdered sugar

Beat butter for 30 seconds; add sugar and beat until fluffy; add vanilla and 2 teaspoons water; beat well. Stir flour and pecans. Shape in 1" balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 325 degrees for about 25 minutes. Cool completely. Gently shake a few cookies at a time in a bag of powdered sugar. Makes 36.
