JUMBO CHIP COOKIES 
3/4 c. butter
1 1/3 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. oatmeal flakes
1 1/2 c. chocolate chip, butterscotch &/or peanut butter chips
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Beat together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Blend in eggs and vanilla. Add combined flour, soda and salt; mix well. Stir in oats, chips and nuts. For jumbo cookies use 1/3 cup dough per cookie. Place 4 inches apart and away from edge of sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-17 minutes or until lightly brown. For smaller cookies, drop by teaspoonsful and bake 10-12 minutes.
