AUNT JEANINE'S SWEET 'N SOUR
MEATBALLS
 
1 (13 1/2 oz.) can pineapple chunks
2 (8 oz.) sausage links
4 tsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. maple syrup
1/3 c. water
1/3 c. green pepper
1/3 c. vinegar to taste
1/2 c. drained maraschino cherries (keep syrup)

Cook sausage links, set aside. Combine salt with syrup, maple syrup, vinegar and water; heat to boiling. Add pineapple and green pepper. Cook 5 minutes and keep warm. Great dish for the crock pot, set on low.
