POPCORN CAKE 
4 qt. popped corn
1 lg. pkg. plain M & M's
1 lg. pkg. sm. spiced gum drops
1 lg. can cocktail peanuts

SYRUP:

1 c. white Karo,
1 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. white sugar
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Boil syrup 1 minute and remove from heat. Add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda and stir. Pour over popped corn and other ingredients and press into buttered tube pan.
