AUNT ALICE'S POPCORN CAKE 
2 batches air popped popcorn

Cook to halfway between hard and soft ball on candy thermometer: 1/2 c. white Karo syrup 1/2 c. water 1/4 c. butter 3/4 tsp. salt

Color with food color desired. After boiled, add 1 teaspoon vanilla. Pour over popcorn and mix. Pour into angel food cake pan and cut with knife.
