1 c. sugar
1 c. Crisco
1 c. molasses
1 c. sour cream
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. ginger
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. baking soda in 1 tbsp. milk
3 c. flour

Beat all together carefully. Put in cake pan and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
