CHOCOLATE FILLED SNOWBALLS 
1/2 lb. butter, softened
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted flour
1 c. pecans, finely chopped
1 (5 oz.) pkg. Hershey's kisses
Powdered sugar, sifted

Beat butter, sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add flour and nuts. Blend well. Chill dough. Remove foil from kisses; shape dough around each kiss, using about 1 tablespoon. Roll to make ball. Be sure to cover completely. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes. Cool slightly. While still warm, sprinkle with sifted powdered sugar.
