CHEESE & HERB BISCUITS 
1/2 c. grated cheese
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. shortening
1/2 tsp. rosemary
1/2 tsp. tarragon
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4-1 c. buttermilk

Combine flour, salt, soda and baking powder. Cut in shortening. Add cheese and herbs. Add buttermilk to make soft dough. Drop by spoonful on cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 10-15 minutes. Yield 12-16.
