ONE DISH MEAL
1 lb. sausage
2 med. onions, cut up
Celery and parsley leaves (teaspoon each)
Cabbage, medium heat
1 c. no yolk noodles

Fry the grease out of the sausage and discard. Saute onion, celery leaves, parsley leaves and sausage until done (slow and over low heat). Cook noodles, (broken up) until tender; drain and rinse. Saute cabbage (shredded) in butter, slow as to not burn. Add all together and let stand for at least 1/2 hour. To use as a side dish at a meal, use just the cabbage and noodles. I prepare this before I start my dinner-the flavor is better. Leftovers can be reheated and are tasty.

DIETITIAN'S NOTE:

To reduce fat, cholesterol, sodium, and calories, try turkey sausage in place of pork sausage and boil or microwave the cabbage instead of sauteing in butter.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
