3/4 c. sugar 1 stick butter 1 pkg. dates, chopped 1 egg 3 c. Rice Krispies 1 c. nuts 1 tsp. vanilla Coconut Melt butter slowly. Remove from heat and add sugar and dates. Cool and add beaten egg. Cook over low heat until dates are mushy. Remove from heat. Add Krispies, dates, nuts and vanilla. Shape into walnut-size balls and roll in coconut. Yield: 4 to 5 dozen. |
