HOMEMADE PEACH CAKE | |
1 box white cake mix 4 eggs 1 box pineapple orange Jello 1/2 c. water (I use 1 tbsp. lemon juice & finish with water) 1 c. Wesson oil 1/2 c. fresh peaches or frozen mashed peaches Mix Jello with cake mix. Add oil and water; beat well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each egg. Add peaches and mix. Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 325 degrees for 45 minutes. Pour glaze over cake after removing from oven while still warm. GLAZE: 1/2 c. mashed peaches 2 c. powdered sugar 1 tbsp. lemon juice Combine and pour over hot cake. |
