BAVARIAN STRAWBERRY PIE | |
1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jello 1 tbsp. sugar 1/8 tsp. salt 1 c. boiling water 1/2 c. cold water 1 (9 inch) pie shell, cooked and cooled 1 (10 oz.) pkg. Bird's Eye quick thaw strawberries 1 c. Cool Whip Dissolve Jello, sugar and salt in boiling water. Add cold water and frozen strawberries. Stir gently until fruit thaws and separates. Chill until slightly thickened. Add Cool Whip; blend until smooth (may appear curdled). Pour into pie shell. Chill until firm, about 4 hours. Garnish with additional Cool Whip. |
