MANDARIN SALAD 
1 (3 oz.) pkg. orange gelatin
1 c. boiling water
1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges
1 (5 oz.) can water chestnuts
7-Up
French dressing
Salad greens

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Drain juice from oranges; add enough 7-Up to make one cup; stir into gelatin. Chill until thickened, but not set. Drain water chestnuts and chop finely. Fold oranges and water chestnuts into thickened gelatin. Pour into a 3 cup mold and chill until set. Unmold onto salad greens and serve with sharp French dressing. 6 to 8 servings.
