APPLE CRISP 
4 c. sliced apples
2 tbsp. water
1/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. Jiffy mix or Bisquick
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 egg
1/4 c. oil

Arrange apples in greased bottom 8x8 inch pan. Sprinkle with water and 1/4 cup sugar; set aside.

In bowl, combine Jiffy mix (or Bisquick), 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon. Beat egg thoroughly. Add to dry mixture and stir with fork until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over apples. Top with oil. Bake 25 minutes at 400 degrees until browned. (If recipe is doubled, use 9x13 inch pan.)
