BARBEQUED STEAK 
2 c. ketchup
1 c. water
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1/2 c. chopped onion
3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. mustard
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
4 lb. round steak (1/2" thick)

Combine all ingredients except steak in a saucepan. Bring to boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Keep sauce hot. Pound round steak to break connective tissue or get butcher to run through tenderizer at store. Cut into serving size portions.

Place in 9 x 13 inch baking dish and pour sauce over meat. Cover tightly and bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2-2 hours or until meat is fork tender. Serve with rice. Makes 8-10 servings. Great company dish!
