BOOT LEGGER BEANS 
3 strips bacon, dice and dry
Sm. onion, diced
Pork and beans or pinto
1 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. catsup

When bacon is half done, add onion. When onion is brown, drain off grease. Add rest of ingredients. Stir well; add cover. Simmer 30 minutes or bake at 300 degrees for a couple of hours. Microwave 10-12 minutes, covered.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
