BARBECUE SAUCE 
2 tbsp. butter
1 med. onion, sliced
1 clove garlic, chopped
1/2 c. celery, chopped
3/4 c. water
1 c. ketchup
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Melt butter; add onion and cook until browned. Add remaining ingredients and cook 20 minutes. Add to meat and heat. Great for ham barbecue or chicken or ribs. Makes 2 1/4 cups or enough for 3 pounds of meat or 1 pound chipped ham.
