YEAST ROLLS 
1 heaping tbsp. lard
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg

Put above ingredients in one cup boiling water. Let cool until lukewarm. Soften 1 cake or 1 envelope yeast in 1/4 cup lukewarm water. Add 1 teaspoons sugar. When mixture gets lukewarm, add yeast and well beaten egg. Sift 4 cups all purpose flour twice. Add flour 1/2 cup at a time. Put into refrigerator overnight. Work down well. Make into rolls. Let rise and bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.
