GERMAN DUTCH APPLE CAKE | |
2 c. sugar 1 c. oil 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 2 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 2 c. flour 4 c. thinly sliced apples Combine and bake 350 degrees for 45 minutes in a 9x13 pan. SAUCE: 1 stick butter 1 c. sugar 1 sm. can evaporated milk (2/3 c.) Boil in saucepan for 2 minutes and pour over cake straight from oven. |
