LEMON BARS DELUXE 
2 c. flour
1/2 c. confectioners' sugar
1 c. butter
1 tsp. lemon rind, grated
4 beaten eggs
2 c. granulated sugar
1/3 c. lemon juice
1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder

Sift together the 2 cups of flour and sugar. Cut in butter and lemon rind until mixture clings together. Press in 13x9 inch pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 20-25 minutes or until lightly browned.

Beat together eggs, sugar and lemon juice. Sift together the 1/4 cup flour. Pour over baked crust. Bake in 350 degree oven for 25 minutes longer. Sprinkle with additional confectioners' sugar. Cool. Cut in bars. Makes 30.
