APPLE CRUMBLE "PIZZA" PIE 
6 or 7 tart apples
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Pastry for 2 (9") pie crusts

Heat oven to 450 degrees. Prepare pastry as normal, only roll 1" larger than a 13" pizza pan. Ease into pan; flute edges. Do not pare apples, cut into 1/2" slices (8 cups). Beginning at edge of crust, overlap slices covering entire surface with apples. Stir together sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg; sprinkle over apple slices.

Top with Crumble Topping: Mix 3/4 cup flour, 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup firm butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over top. Bake 30 to 40 minutes or until apples are tender.
