PINEAPPLE ICE BOX DESSERT 
lb. vanilla wafers
1 lb. powdered sugar
1 pt. whipping cream
1 c. nuts (walnuts or almonds)
3 c. crushed pineapple (two #2 cans)
1/2 lb. butter
4 eggs

Crumb wafers and place one half on bottom of 9 x 12 inch pan. Cream butter and sugar. Add beaten eggs one at a time. Mix well; pour over crumbs, covering entirely. Drain pineapple and spread over butter mixture. Whip cream and spread over pineapple and add chopped nuts. Spread rest of crumbs over entire mixture. Let set overnight in refrigerator.
