MUZZELOADER CORN BREAD 
3/4 c. cornmeal
1 1/4 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. baking powder
Dash of cayenne pepper
Dash of garlic powder
1 egg, beaten
3/4 c. milk
1/4 c. cooking oil
2 tbsp. minced onion
2 tbsp. minced green pepper
2 tbsp. minced pimento

Combine dry ingredients in large bowl and mix well. Combine remaining ingredients and stir into dry ingredients. Bake in preheated and oiled heavy pan or muffin tin at 400 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Makes 12 large muffins.
