ANGEL BISCUITS 
5 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
3 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. shortening
3 tbsp. sugar
2 cakes yeast
2 c. buttermilk

Dissolve yeast in about 4 tablespoons of lukewarm water with 1 tablespoon sugar. Sift ingredients, cut in shortening until thoroughly mixed. Add buttermilk and yeast. Work together until all flour is moistened. Cover bowl. Set in refrigerator until you want to use, or roll out and bake in 400 degree oven for 12 minutes.
