BREAD PUDDING | |
2 c. milk 2 1/2 c. sugar 4 eggs, beaten 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring 8-10 slices old bread, broken up into pieces 8 pats butter 3/4 c. raisins (optional) Soak raisins in hot water. In medium mixing bowl, combine milk, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Beat for 2 minutes at medium speed. Pour mixture into greased casserole dish, remove raisins from water and add to mixture, if desired. Press bread into mixture. Place butter on top evenly spaced. Bake at 400 degrees until golden brown. |
