BANANA SPLIT PIE 
1 (12 oz.) box vanilla wafers, crushed
3/4 stick butter, melted
2 c. powdered confectioners' sugar
1 c. butter, softened
2 eggs
Lemon juice for dipping bananas
5 bananas, sliced
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
1 (13 oz.) carton whipped topping
1 c. chopped nuts

Combine crushed wafers and melted butter. Press into 13 x 9 x 2 pan. Combine softened butter, sugar, eggs. Beat on high until creamy. Spread over wafer crust. Top with sliced bananas, then crushed pineapple. Spread whipped topping over all. Sprinkle with nuts, and top with cherries, if desired. Keep chilled. Serves 10.
