CHICKEN BASKET 
6 chicken breasts
1 stick butter
1/4 c. sherry
1 c. sliced mushrooms
3/4 c. slivered almonds
1 c. chicken soup
1/2 pt. sour cream

Brown chicken in butter. Place in a baking dish. Season with salt and pepper. Pour sherry over it and let stand 2 to 3 hours.

Make a sauce of soup, sour cream and mushrooms. Pour over chicken and bake at 400 degrees for 1 hour. Add almonds when ready to serve. Serves 4 to 6.
