BECKY WOOD'S WALDORF SALAD 
3 c. firm apples
1 c. walnuts
1 c. diced celery

DRESSING:

2/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. flour
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
Dash of salt and pepper
1 beaten egg
3 tbsp. whipping cream
3 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. butter

Mix all dressing ingredients. Boil until thick; remove from heat, cool and refrigerate. Make the day before. Add to salad ingredients.
