RAISIN CREME PIE 
1 c. raisins
1 c. water
3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. cream
3 egg yolks
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. vanilla

Boil raisins, water and brown sugar for 10 minutes. Mix egg yolks, cream and cornstarch. Add slowly to hot mixture, stirring quickly. Cook until thick. Add vanilla. Pour into baked pie shell and top with your favorite meringue. Variation: When pie filling cools completely, fold in Cool Whip and put in pie shell.
