LAMB 'N BARLEY DINNER | |
1 1/2 lb. ground lamb 1/2 c. chopped green pepper 1/2 c. chopped onion 1 clove garlic, minced 2 c. water 1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes, undrained, cut into pieces 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste 1 tbsp. sugar 3/4 c. pearled barley In large skillet, brown lamb, green pepper, onion and garlic; drain. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Cover; simmer 50-60 minutes or until barley is tender, stirring occasionally. About six (1 cup) servings. |
