WINTER SALAD 
1 bunch broccoli, cut in sm. pieces
1 sm. head cauliflower, cut in small pieces
1 med. red onion, sliced thin, separate into rings
1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1/4 c. raisins, optional
1/2 lb. bacon, fried, drained & crumbled
1/4 c. toasted, slivered almonds
4 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese

DRESSING:

1 1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/3 c. sugar
3 tbsp. vinegar

Mix vegetables, mushrooms and raisins if desired and crumbled bacon together thoroughly. Fold dressing into vegetable mixture and refrigerate 1-2 hours before serving. Sprinkle with almonds and Cheddar cheese before serving. Makes 8-10 servings.
