BARNETT'S CALIFORNIA BAKED BEANS 
1 lb. can kidney beans, drained
6 slices bacon, partially cooked and chopped
1 (21 oz.) can pork and beans
1/2 c. catsup
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. cumin
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1 med. onion, chopped
1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

Combine all ingredients except cheese in a 3-quart casserole or bean pot. Bake for 45 minutes uncovered. Sprinkle with cheese and bake for 15 minutes more in 400 degree oven. Serves 6.
