IRISH SODA BREAD 
3 c. whole wheat flour
3 c. white flour
1/2 c. oatmeal
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. melted butter
4 oz. (1/2 c.) yogurt
2-3 c. sour milk (milk with 1 tbsp. lemon juice) or 2-3 c. buttermilk
1/3 c. sugar
1 c. raisins/currants (opt.)

Knead briefly, divide into 2 portions. Place one portion in buttered heavy frying pan. Score top. Yield: 2 loaves.

Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Increase the heat to 400 degrees last 5 minutes. Serve in wedges or slice and toast; sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
