BANANA SPLIT CAKE 
3 sticks butter
2 c. graham cracker crumbs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 box confectioners' sugar
2 eggs
1 lg. can crushed pineapple, drained
3 or 4 bananas (may be dipped in lemon juice)
1 lg. size Cool Whip
Crushed nuts
Maraschino cherries

Melt 1 stick butter in large cake pan. Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs over melted butter and press down forming crust. Beat 2 sticks butter, vanilla, confectioners' sugar and eggs. Spread over crust. Spread pineapples over mixture. Slice bananas lengthwise and place on top of pineapple. Spread Cool Whip on top of bananas. Sprinkle with nuts. Decorate with cherries. Chill 3 hours or overnight.
