PINEAPPLE UPSIDE DOWN CAKE 
1 c. brown sugar
1 can pineapple chunks
1 stick butter
1 yellow cake mix
Candied cherries

Melt butter in iron skillet or baking dish. Add cup of brown sugar to butter. Drain pineapple and save juice. Add pineapple chunks to butter and sugar. Place cherries in with the pineapple.

Mix cake mix according to directions. Use pineapple juice in place of water. Bake for 40 minutes at 350 degrees or until a toothpick comes out of the center of the cake clean. Cool cake for 20 minutes. Place a cake plate on top of cake and turn upside down.
