7 HOUR BEEF STEW | |
2-3 lbs. cubed beef stew meat 6 carrots, cut up 6 potatoes, cut up 2 c. celery, cut up 1 c. onion, cut up 1 green pepper, cut up 1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes 1 box frozen peas 1 can green beans with liquid 1 bay leaf 4 tbsp. tapioca 1 tbsp. brown sugar 1 can bouillon or consomme soup Salt & pepper to taste Mix all together in a covered roaster or Dutch oven and cover and DON'T PEEK. Bake in 250 degree oven for 7 hours. May be made in big crock pot for 8 to 10 hours. |
