GERMAN COLE SLAW 
8 c. finely grated cabbage
1/2 c. grated carrot
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
3 tbsp. sugar
3 tbsp. hot water
3 tbsp. vinegar
1/4 c. vegetable oil
Celery seed

Mix vegetables, add salt, pepper and celery seed to taste. Add 1/4 cup vegetable oil and mix well. Chill 3 hours.
