CHEESE SAUCE FOR VEGETABLES 
1 sm. can evaporated milk
1/4 lb. American cheese, shredded

Stir over low heat until cheese melts. (For variation, add: 1 tablespoon dried minced onion, 1 tablespoons chopped pimento, 1/3 cup chopped, drained mushroom pieces.) Serve over baked potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower or green beans.
