OVEN ROASTED SAUCED SPARERIBS | |
3 to 4 lb. pork spareribs or 6 to 8 pork chops 1/4 c. brown sugar, packed firm 2 tsp. dry mustard 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 c. catsup 1/2 c. vinegar 1/2 c. water 3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 2 tbsp. onion, grated 1 clove garlic, crushed Cut ribs into serving pieces, lightly salt bottom of large shallow roast pan. Place ribs in pan, roast at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Combine brown sugar, mustard, pepper in a saucepan. Blend thoroughly, stir in the remaining ingredients. Bring to boiling over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Pour 1/2 of the sauce over ribs, continue roasting for 30 minutes. Turn ribs and pour on remaining sauce. Roast 30 to 45 minutes or longer or until tender. |
